 Job Description

Responsibilities: Advertising • Develop strategic direction of where/when to advertise to build competitive advantage • Ensure all advertising campaigns are “brand right” and reflective of Lane Bryant and Cacique • Create partnerships to support special event/in-store promotional campaigns • Oversee Real Estate Coordinator and Local Marketing Coordinator. Print – Fashion/Entertainment • National Magazine Partnerships/Events • Special Events/Tours Television/Radio • Manage test process • Roll-out process Promotional Support • Interface with e-commerce team and web development team to ensure consistency of message and promotional cadence between channels. • Strategic owner of product launches; liaison to merchant community for product launches. Public Relations Support • Support Special Events (Fashion Shows/Appearances) • Support Fashion Editorial Push – act as liaison to NYC office • Oversee stores and new store PR Effort Management of Store Marketing Initiative • Develop/manage strategic marketing plans for new stores, conversions, remodels, relocations and store closings. • Develop/manage strategic marketing plans for store marketing (defined as new stores, Double Platinum, sustaining media, At Risk, Sophie Select & competitor adjacent). Cause Branding • Develop/Manage relationship with charitable partner(s) • Local Market efforts – all associates to participate, if possible • Develop in-store/customer strategy to bring charity “to life”. • Press Strategy - Develop National Press effort to garner publicity for the Brand Requirements: • A minimum of 7-9 years of experience in marketing and/or advertising – within a Fashion Retail environment a plus. A keen understanding of how advertising can build the Brand; what advertising’s role in Brand mix should be; and, why advertising can maximize the customer’s External Brand Experience. • 4 year Bachelor of Arts or Marketing degree • Strong written and oral communication skills • Detail oriented • Ability to manage multiple projects/initiatives • Passionate about Fashion; Passionate about Marketing’s role in Building Brands; Passionate about working for Lane Bryant; and, committed to Lane Bryant’s Brand strategy.
