|
Specific Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for the design/product execution for Brand. This position will own and manage vertical calendar; assure that all critical deadlines are met by the cross functional teams and raise exceptions at weekly meetings.
Responsibilities:
Raw materail development and sourcing based on fabric matrix costing deadlines.
Utilize CAP as a guide for development ratios, pricing strategies and sourcing needs with all pertinent information.
Ensure development meets all department IMU goals.
Understand and align with key partners on seasonal and long term strategies and opportunities
Negotiates all costing
Suggest alternative construction/product engineering to achieve IMU's
Identify vendor and mill needs based on design trends and sourcing direction
Manage tech pack development and sample tracking

Requirements
Required Experience:
5 to 7 years of progressive sourcing/pre-production management responsibility.
Proven leadership in the art of sourcing techniques.
Technical knowledge of fabric and garment construction
Demonstrated ability to lead and manage diverse groups in a value based environment.
Develop and coach to maintain a cooperative and collaborative working environment.
Strong communication skills. Be clear, concise and direct.
4 year college degree required, prefer appropriate advanced degree.
International travel required.
