General Manager required for startup business in South Florida market. Successful candidate will have demonstrated experience in managing and developing high growth businesses in an entrepenurial environment. Complete understanding of operations, merchandising, inventory control and financial controls are essential to the success of this individual.
We are seeking a forward-thinking Senior Level Executive with extensive experience within the Retail and Furniture business.
Establish strategic plan and operating budget.
P& L management and leadership responsibility for the entire organization.
Provide leadership in strategic marketing, merchandising, inventory control and operations planning.
Track progress to ensure achievement of goals and implement necessary actions to correct any deficiencies.
Create a sense of accountability across all functions of the organizational.
Leverage core competencies to significantly grow company's revenue and profits.
Implement cost controls and budgetary oversight to ensure that profits and cash flow goals are achieved.
Establish new and maintain established industry relationships in keeping with company objectives.
Requirements
BS of BA Degree or equivalent industry related experience.
Strong leadership skills with proven track record of success
Start up experience a plus
Excellent analytical, problem solving, and creativity skills.
Similar experience and responsibility in a retail enviornment critical.
