Senior Toy Buyer:
Skills Required:
Develop and select merchandise assortments that are consistent with seasonal business strategies, and deliver great value and high quality.
Ability to research and develop new vendor relationships that are consistent with corporate growth strategy.
Strong Negotiation, Analytical, Written, Verbal, and Decision Making skills
Proven history of development and management of vendor relationships
Ability to successfully forecast sales and trends while simultaneously managing and reacting quickly to business needs and opportunities.
Ability to think outside the box; excellent vendor relationships and a sharp eye for forecasting trends Fluent Knowledge of Gross Margin, Open to Buys, Assortment, Financial and Strategic Planning.
Ability to work in fast paced and growing environment
Build and maintain cross-departmental relationships in order to improve efficiency and maximize opportunities within the company.
Qualifications:
Five - Ten years with Retail Buying experience in a department or big box environment. Ideal Candidate would have manufacturing and retail buying experience
