In partnership of the VP Marketing, strategically plans, manages and analyzes creative advertising and media planning for marketing efforts to achieve divisional and corporate objectives.
Develops, strategize and executes the communication campaign of the seasonal and annual integrated marketing/advertising plans. This includes and print ads, direct mail, public relations, POP, broadcast, interactive/on-line.
Manages production and media for all advertising activity supporting new store openings, remodels, new store prototypes, consumer target groups, and store operations projects.
Oversees media and production activity for all broadcast, print, direct mail and in-store advertising activity. Directs external agencies and internal departments to accomplish marketing/brand goals.
Acts as liaison to the Merchandising, Planning and Allocation and Store Operations groups to coordinate marketing efforts for the brand.
Oversees the strategic marketing direction and branding of all internal projects.
Responsible for monitoring and centralizing the Marketing division's budgetary needs.
Manages, develops, trains, leads and evaluates performance of staff to ensure technical and professional development.
Special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
Must have 10-15+ years of management level ad agency experience and/or significant client-side advertising experience.
Solid holistic marketing development, strategy and execution experience.
SOLID understanding of fashion/home fashion is needed.
Full understanding of broadcast and print production processes, media planning and buying practices across all media.
Outstanding communication, supervisory and creative management skills
Must be interpersonal and a strong team/collaborative player.
Strong Experience overseeing, directing, leading and evaluating direct reports.
Bachelor's degree in Advertising, Marketing or Communications preferred.
